All lanes on the M25 anti-clockwise between junctions 16 and 15 near Iver have now reopened.
There were lane closures after a man fell from a crane, near the motorway, onto the hard shoulder of the M25. It happened at about 9am this morning.
He is believed to have been working in the Court Lane Industrial Estate in Iver. He died at the scene.
Formal identification has not yet been carried out.
Investigations into the incident are now limited to the hard shoulder only.
Delays at the scene have now reduced to 10 minutes.
