Hard-working staff at Paradigm Housing Group rolled up their sleeves on Saturday as they helped carry out repair work at Longridge Activity Centre.
About 15 volunteers from the housing provider helped re-paint a flood-damaged staff accommodation area and put up fences to create a new storage space for bins and recycling.
Site manager at the activity centre in Quarry Wood Road, Emmaleen Dean said, "It couldn't have gone better. The effort that everyone has put in has been remarkable."
Each year Paradigm gives all 440 of its staff 22 hours to volunteer in their community or help charity projects of their own choosing.
