Two teenagers have been arrested by police in connection with assaulting a dad as he played with his two boys in Desborough Park in Maidenhead.
A 44-year-old man was punched to the ground and kicked on the floor while playing tennis with his two children at 1.30pm on Sunday, May 19.
Chief Inspector Lee Townsend, deputy local police area commander, said today a 19-year-old and a 15-year-old had been arrested.
He said in such incidents you often find there is a 'catalyst' for the attack, which took place after the victim asked the men to keep their rottweiler dog under control.
Chf Insp Townsend added: "I cannot even consider how the children are after that - it must have been awful."
Both suspects have released on bail until July 6.
