A sexual health charity based in Slough has been awarded the prestigious Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
Thames Valley Positive Support (TVPS) is proud to receive what is seen as the MBE for voluntary groups, which recognises outstanding work done in the community.
TVPS support people affected by HIV throughout Berkshire.
Sarah Macadam, the charity's director, said: "We are over the moon. We just couldn't provide such a high standard of services without our volunteers.
"There is no higher award a charity can receive, we are all bursting with pride."
They are one of only four groups to receive the award in Berkshire.
Nick Hurd, Minister for Civil Society said: "I would like to congratulate all those who received this year's Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, in recognition of their achievements.
"Having met some of them recently, I was struck by their passion and motivation and hope they will inspire others around them to get involved in volunteering and make a positive impact in their communities."
