There are still long delays on the M4 this morning after a serious road collision on the M4.
It happened on the eastbound carriage just before junction 7 at 8.37am.
It involved a motorbike and three cars.
The motorcyclist has been airlifted to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with head injuries.
He is in a serious condition.
The eastbound carriageway has been closed since 8.30am. Lanes two and three are still closed and the vehicles are yet to be recovered.
The westbound carriage at the same junction was closed for a short period to allow for the air ambulance to land. This has now opened.
There are still long delays in the area.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information should phone 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
