A 48-year-old man is due to appear in court this morning over allegations he tried to kidnap a woman in Maidenhead.
Martin Cain, of Stompits Road, Holyport, has been charged with one count of attempting to kidnap or falsely imprison a person with intent to commit a sexual offence.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Slough Magistrates' Court this morning.
The charge relates to an incident in the early hours of Saturday morning which saw a 20-year-old woman grabbed as she walked along Shoppenhangers Road at about 12.30am.
