Singer Sean Rumsey from Maidenhead has made it through the battle round of BBC talent show The Voice.
The 26-year-old beat fellow Team Danny member Paul Carden in Saturday's show, which was dubbed 'Super Battle Saturday' in the lead up to the screening.
The pair sang I'm a Man by The Spencer Davis Group and their coach, The Script's Danny O'Donoghue, opted to save Sean.
Footage of them practising the song with Danny and his assistant coach Dido was shown before the battle.
After the show Sean tweeted he was 'so excited' to be through to the knockout stages.
These are due to start on Saturday.
Last week he spoke to the Advertiser about his blind audition for The Voice and his music career to date.
