A date has been set for the funeral of much-loved Maidenhead resident Henry Greene.
The service is due to take place on Tuesday, June 4, from 11am at Slough Crematorium in Stoke Road, Slough.
Former costume-maker Henry passed away at the end of April aged 76.
During his career he worked in the film industry, including at Pinewood Studios in Iver, as well as on period dramas and the Royal Variety Show.
He also made costumes for local theatre groups such as The Grimm Players, and wedding dresses, and used to be part of the Salvation Army.
Henry was particularly well known for having decorated his former council maisonette on the Larchfield estate in the style of a stately home.
Donations for flowers are being accepted in Ryman in the Nicholsons Centre.
