A shake-up of bus services in Windsor and Maidenhead could be on the cards under proposals set to go before the council's cabinet tomorrow night.
With some contracts with private operators set to expire by February, the cabinet will consider recommendations to put some routes out to tender for new contracts.
The operating model of some rural services would also be revised under the recommendations, with a minimum saving of £20,000 estimated.
Other matters due to be discussed include:
- A decision will be made on whether the pilot pedestrianisation of lower Peascod Street in Windsor should be made permanent.
- The cabinet will consider adopting the Cookham Village Design Statement, which outlines the key characteristics of the parish, as a supplementary planning document.
- A £350,000 refurbishment of the vacant, council-owned flats at 15-17 York Road so they can be transferred to the private rental market will be considered.
The meeting will take place at Maidenhead Town Hall in St Ives Road at 7.30pm.
