Figures released have found six people on the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead earned more than £100,000 in 2011/12.
They were released as part of the 7th Town Hall Rich List by the Tax Payer's Alliance (TPA) and was down from the nine taking home the amount in 2010/11.
Former chief executive Ian Trenholm earned £165,581 including a basic salary of £140,000 in 2011/12.
Top earner was former director of environment David Oram, who made £171,522 that featured a take-home salary of £147,617.
The report also said six employees on Slough Borough Council earned more than £100,000 down from 23 in 2010/11.
Top earner was chief executive Ruth Bagley, who is reported to have picked up a total of £180,699 in 2011/12, including a basic salary of £160,479.
Chief executive Matthew Sinclair, said: "It is good news that the number of senior council staff making more than £100,000 a year is finally falling, although that may only be because many authorities have finished paying eye-watering redundancy bills."
