Three men were arrested in Furze Platt in Maidenhead last night by police tracking a stolen car from the West Midlands.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a heavy police presence near the junction of Gardner Road and Switchback Road North and a badly damaged car at about 6.30pm, following reports of a police helicopter flying above the area.
Thames Valley Police confirmed a stolen car wanted in connection with burglaries was spotted and tracked down, with three men arrested.
A 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of driving dangerously, a 21-year-old on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving, and another 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They remain in custody.
