A cycling enthusiast from Maidenhead is joining colleagues to embark on a five-day charity bike ride from Berkshire to Germany.
Scott Osborne, who is 37 and lives in Blackamoor Lane, will be setting off with 17 workmates from the offices of pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim in Bracknell to its headquarters in Ingelheim on Thursday, May 23.
The riders are looking for sponsorship for the 500-mile journey which will be raising money for BLISS, a charity supporting premature babies.
Scott said: "I know several people who have been affected by the issues that the charity’s work addresses so I feel it is a very worthwhile cause."
The participants aim to raise a total of £36,000.
