Hundreds of homes were left without electricity following a power cut this morning.
A fault with the network in Maidenhead and the surrounding area at about 11.15am meant about 1,200 properties were affected - and about 200 of those in Taplow are still without power.
A Southern Electric spokesman said the vast majority of homes had been re-routed onto different parts of the network, with power restored for about 1,000 customers in just under an hour.
He added: "Engineers are on site working to restore the power at the moment."
The spokesman said the re-routing may have caused some residents in Cippenham to have noticed their lights flickering temporarily.
UPDATE - 1.20pm: Southern Electric has confirmed power has now been restored in the Taplow area.
