Travel agent Thomas Cook has announced it is to cut 2,500 jobs and close almost 200 stores.
The global travel company, which has a shop in Maidenhead, Burnham and Marlow's High Street, said the move was designed to revive the firm's profitability.
It employs about 15,500 people in the UK.
Peter Fankhauser, Thomas Cook's chief executive for Europe and the UK, said: "We firmly believe these proposals will mean a better more profitable Thomas Cook that continues to be a major employer in the UK."
It is not known if branches the above branches are among those facing closure.
