A new fleet of colour-coded buses set off to work in Maidenhead this morning operating on a new timetable.
The shake-up follows a £1.2m investment from Courtney Buses, which has invested in nine new vehicles.
The Royal Borough said a two-fold increase in passenger numbers and extra traffic congestion are driving the timetable changes.
The new buses feature screens and audible alerts to announce the next stop.
They have also been installed with CCTV cameras to provide additional security for passengers.
The buses will run on routes 4, 5, 6, 8 and 239, with different coloured vehicles for each route.
