A driver was left with neck and back pains after his car crashed and rolled into a ditch off the M4 near Maidenhead this afternoon.
Fire crews from Maidenhead Fire Station and an ambulance were called to the scene at 3.45pm where the car had veered off the third lane of the westbound carriageway between junctions 8/9 for Maidenhead and High Wycombe and junction 10 for Reading East.
The car had gone through a fence and rolled a couple of times before landing on four wheels.
The male driver was helped by passers-by and was away from the scene when fire crews arrived. Help was required to put him on a stretcher to get him out of the ditch.
He was then taken to hospital to receive treatment for neck and back pains. No major injuries have been reported
An air ambulance was called to the scene but was not required.
Minor traffic delays were caused as a result of the accident.
