Flat-dwellers with a love of cats and kittens are being sought by the RSPCA to act as foster carers.
In anticipation of a spring influx of the animals, the charity's Maidenhead and east Berkshire branch is asking people to come forward and register their interest.
Its cats and kittens have to stay indoors which means placing them in flats is not a problem as long as the landlord's permission is obtained.
The length of their stay can vary from a few days to a few weeks and occasionally a couple of months.
Foster carers can look after the pets for as long as is convenient for them.
The RSPCA will pay expenses including food and vet bills.
Call 07852 481079 to register.
