The importance of libraries to the community was highlighted on Saturday.
National Libraries Day activities took place across the Royal Borough's libraries.
At Maidenhead Library in St Ives Road, children took part in colouring sessions and the range of services on offer at the library was promoted, while at Windsor Library in Bachelors Acre there was a story-time session hosted by staff dressed up in Victorian clothing.
At Ascot Durning Library in Ascot High Street there were crafts and story-telling sessions, while free books were handed out to customers at Tesco in Dedworth to encourage people to go along to Dedworth Library in Smiths Lane.
Paul Noakes is team leader information and digital technology across the borough's libraries.
He said: "It is about raising our profile in the community and reminding people of all the things we do."
