Thunderbirds will be 'go' once again after ITV announced plans to give the show a digital re-invention ready for 2015.
The revival will mark 50 years since the classic puppet series, which was filmed at Slough Trading Estate, was first launched by co-creators Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.
ITV will show 26 episodes of the new CGI series, given the working title of Thunderbirds Are Go!, in a collaboration with New Zealand-based Pukeko Pictures and Weta Workshop, which produced effects for the Lord of the Rings films.
Gerry Anderson, who started his career working from Maidenhead's Islet Park House, died on Boxing Day, aged 83.
