Bracknell MP Dr Phillip Lee is behind the vision to build a new hospital near the M4

A public meeting to discuss the creation of a new 'super hospital' will be taking place at the Copthorne Hotel in Slough.

Dr Phillip Lee, MP for Bracknell, will be answering questions from the public following his undertaking of a regional plan for the provision of healthcare in the Thames Valley.

He will present his idea for a new £500m Royal Thames Valley Hospital and call for a 're-think' of healthcare strategy to incorporate a broader system for the region.

Proposals could see the hospital based at junction 8/9 of the M4 near Maidenhead.

The meeting takes place at the Cippenham Lane venue on Thursday, February 21, at 7.30pm.
