Two men have been arrested after a man in his twenties was stabbed in Maidenhead last night.
The man was attacked as he walking in Norden Road with a group of friends at around 11.15-11.30pm.
A group of men were driving in a car before jumping out and approaching the friends.
A fight followed in which the victim was stabbed in the stomach. The men in the car then left the scene.
He was taken to Wexham Park Hospital where he has had emergency surgery and remains in a serious condition.
The car is described as white or possibly silver and similar to a small Vauxhall.
Two men have been arrested and remain in custody.
