A protest was held in Maidenhead High Street on Saturday over plans to turn the Golden Harp pub in Furze Platt into a Tesco Express.
More than 200 signatures were added to a petition against the changes for the building on the junction of Furze Platt Road and Courthouse Road.
Protesters carried banners and placards and were joined by Maidenhead Concert Band.
A public meeting about the plans is due to be held at St Piran's School in Gringer Hill on Tuesday.
