Maidenhead B&G FC u14s Colts kept a first clean sheet of the season as they defeated Camberley Town Youth Rangers 4-0 away from home at the weekend.
The team have made massive strides in Division 7 this season, having lost 7-1 to the same team earlier in the season.
Noah Sturrock, who was named player of the match, scored one of their goals with Jack Newton, Ben Thompson and Kai Enser also getting their name on the scoresheet.
The victory was enough to lift them off the bottom of the table for the first time this season.
Elsewhere a number of the club’s teams returned after the Christmas and new year break.
The u18s Anacondas played out an entertaining 4-4 draw at Burghfield FC in Division 3.
The u18s Santos side were solid 2-0 winners away at Wargrave Wolves in Division 6, while the u16s Boys beat Burghfield Reds 5-0 in Division 4.
The Cobras u14s made a poor start to the new year, losing 5-0 to the Pinewood Panthers in Division 5.
The u12s Panthers failed to hold onto the first half lead given to them by Harry James as they were beaten 6-2 by Spencers Wood Typhoons.
Callum Neeson-Roberts was named player of the match for his defensive efforts in the first half and attacking creativity in the second.
