In the public notices this week, an appeal has been lodged to build a data centre in Iver.
Planning
An appeal has been logged against Buckinghamshire Council for refusing to allow a data centre to be built in Iver.
The appeal, launched by Affinius Capital LLC, relates to an application for the demolition of the Court Lane Industrial Estate and the redevelopment of the site to comprise a data centre of up to 65,000sqm.
The data centre buildings would include ancillary offices, internal technical spaces and technical equipment.
The development may also include car and cycle parking; external plant and equipment; hard and soft landscaping and routes and open spaces at Court Lane Industrial Estate.
An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an inquiry opening on June 11 at 10am in the Council Chamber at High Wycombe Council Offices.
Members of the public may attend the inquiry and, at the Inspector’s discretion, express their views.
Documents relating to the appeal can be viewed at the council offices by prior arrangement or on the council website.
Meanwhile, also in Iver, there is a plan submitted for a major development at Old Slade Farm on 41 Old Slade Lane.
This entails the demolition of four buildings to make way for three new homes, landscaping and a roadway. See plans with reference PL/24/1500/FA.
Langley, too, is seeing a major development: redevelopment of The Willow Tree at 62 Station Road into a building up to six stories, containing 47 flats, parking and amenity space.
