Public Notices: Series of road closures across the Royal Borough

This week’s public notices include a number of road closures happening across the Royal Borough.

Part of Hermitage Lane in Windsor is set to close over two days with no alternative route available.

The stretch of Hermitage Lane between its junction with B3022

St Leonards Road will be closed southward for around 20 metres between 8am on Wednesday, July 19 to 5pm on Thursday, July 20.

The reason for closure is to facilitate repairs to leaking distribution valve on the highway by Thames Water, which could pose a danger to the public.

Traffic restriction signs will be on show whilst the works take place.

The Royal Borough has also given notice of planned road

closures for resufacing works on nearly 30 roads across the borough.

The traffic order will come into force on July 20, with works taking place at various points within an 18-month period

from that date. Access will be maintained for residents and

businesses affected where

possible.

Traffic signs will be on display in the areas when works are being carried out.

include:

• B3020 High Street, Sunninghill from its junction with Queens Road southward to No 68 High Street.

• B3020 Bagshot Road, Sunninghill from its junction with Charters Lane to its junction with Fox Covert Close.

• A30 London Road, Sunningdale from its junction with B383 Chobham Road to its junction with Charters Road.

• Bolton Road, Windsor from eastern junction of Bourne Avenue to its junction with B3022 St Leonards Road.

• Smiths Lane, Windsor from its junction with A308 Maidenhead Road to its junction with Manor Road.

• Longmead, Windsor from its junction with Smiths Lane to its junction with Burnetts Road.

• A308 Maidenhead Road, Windsor from its junction with Parsonage Lane to its junction with Stovell Road.

• Burnetts Road, Windsor from its junction with Whiteley to its junction with Smiths Lane.

• A332 Royal Windsor Way, Windsor for its entire length.

• A332 Royal Windsor Way Northbound on Slip, Windsor for its entire length.

• A332 Royal Windsor Way, Southbound off Slip, Windsor for its entire length.

• A355 Royal Windsor Way, Windsor for its entire length.

• A332 Windsor and Eton Relief Road on Spur, Windsor for its entire length.

• Foundry Lane, Horton for its entire length.

• Stanwell Road, Horton for its entire length.

• Datchet Road, Horton from western junction with Horton Road to its junction with Stanwell Road.

• B3018 Binfield Road, Shurlock Row from its junction with The Street southward to its junction with Spinning Wheel Lane.
