Cats, dogs and birds battled it out to be crowned top mascot at a race on Sunday.
The mascot race took place at Windsor Racecourse in Maidenhead Road with characters running half a furlong in aid of The Children's Trust.
The race was part of family fun raceday at the racecourse, with Woking FC's Kingfield Kat coming out on top.
Windsor Racecourse's mascot Archie the Horse said he did not have any trouble on the course.
This was despite a strap on his hoof coming undone and sending him head over heels, causing him to lose his head in the tumble.
It was a first for Maidenhead United's new mascot, Yorkie the Magpie.
Yorkie said he 'thoroughly' enjoyed the day, especially meeting the other mascots.
Although he did not win, Yorkie thinks he knows why.
"I would definitely have won if the grass has been shorter. Yes that's it, the grass was too long," he explained.
At the end of the raceday, mascots shook buckets in the crowds fundraising for The Children's Trust.
