Firefighters spent three hours tackling a roof fire in Slough last night (Wednesday).

Crews from Langley, Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead rushed to a bungalow in Long Readings Lane at 10.06pm.

It is believed the fire started following an electrical fault in the loft.

Two teams of firefighters entered the house to tackle the blaze and they were supported by their colleagues on the outside.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.
