Proposed cuts to fire services could see Wargrave lose its station.
A document published by Royal Berkshire Fire Authority suggests six options for cutting costs, as well as one option to do nothing and achieve no cuts.
The proposal to close Wargrave station is included in three of those options, with all three projected to save more than £1m.
The proposals are part of the Royal Berkshire Fire Authority’s 2015-2019 Integrated Risk Management Plan, which guides how its resources are managed.
A 13-week consultation will take place from Monday. A decision will be taken in April.
