Twyford is a thriving village, situated between Maidenhead, Reading and Henley on Thames.It saw rapid growth in the 1960s and has a good mix of properties to buy and rent and includes Victorian terraces, substantial older and modern properties, flats and several modern estates.
Community
Properties in Twyford also cater very well for people of retirement age and above. It boasts 30 listed buildings and a large conservation area.
Twyford has its own parish council and is within Wokingham District Council. It has a bustling High Street with a supermarkets and many independent shops and traders. Twyford has a football pitch, tennis courts, children's playgrounds and other youth facilities including a skate park.
Transport
Twyford is has good access to the motorway network and is also popular with commuters because of its mainline railway station
served by trains between Reading and London Paddington.

Twyford has a number of primary schools and children of secondary school age attend schools in neighbouring Wargrave, Woodley, Reading and Maidenhead.
