A day to consider what peace means to the pupils of St Nicolas School in Taplow was held.
The primary school in Rectory Road held an assembly on World Peace Day on Wednesday, September 21, and had a ‘quiet’ lunch with some of the students volunteering to spend the lunch break thinking about what peace means.
They also came together to spell out the letters of peace in the school playground.
Music teacher Jenny Dobson, who organised the event, said: “it was lovely to spend a little while thinking about peace in a world which is so often full of noise, chaos and war.
“The children responded really well and thought about what peace is all about.”
