Maidenhead United have made a seventh summer signing in the shape of French goalkeeper Alexis André Jr.
The 25-year-old arrives from former National League outfit Dover Athletic with whom he made 12 appearances.
Following the Whites’ relegation, manager Andy Hessenthaler confirmed that the club intended to retain André Jr however in June 2022 conceded that the club were unlikely to be able to due to financial reasons.
The goalkeeper also has a TikTok account with a considerable following of almost four million as of July 2022. He also appeared on the Amazon Prime Video dating show, Lovestruck High in May.
On his move to the Magpies, André Jr tweeted: “Delighted to sign for @MUFCYorkRoad. Can’t wait for this new challenge, show time!”
