Nominations are now open for the 2022 Berkshire Football Awards, sponsored by Eddie Stobart, where the great and the good from the local football scene will be celebrated.
The awards night, organised by the Football in Berkshire website, will see awards handed out across a range of categories including best ground, best website, volunteer of the season, referee of the season and plenty of player awards across the non-league, semi-professional, women’s and junior game.
Nominations will stay open until midnight on Tuesday, May 31 and, once that date is passed, they'll be put before a panel of judges, with the top three being announced online before the winner is named at the awards night.
The event will take place at the Double-Barrelled Brewery in Reading on Wednesday, June 15 and Sky Sports presenter Tom White has agreed to help host the evening and hand out the awards, designed and produced by Awards FC.
The event is run by volunteers and Football in Berkshire remains not-for-profit. Eddie Stobarts sponsorship will kindly cover the costs of staging such an event.
Tickets for the event will be priced at £1 and you'll be able to book and pay for a 'street food' meal in advance of the night.
