CrossFit Maidenhead's Ethos rowing members impress at the Just Row Indoor Championships in Manchester

Five members of CrossFit Maidenhead’s Ethos Rowing Team represented the club at the Just Row Indoor Championships held at Train Manchester on Sunday, April 14.

The team of indoor rowers consisted of Lizzie Blundell, Katie Gordon and Cat Wilder, who placed fifith, sixth and seventh in their respective categories, as well as Mark Hassell and Tom Osborne, who finished fourth and ninth in their categories.

The competition included three tests of rowing power and endurance taken over the course of an hour.

Indoor rowing is fast becoming a competitive sport in its own right and the low impact but high rewards have seen many take up the challenge.

The Ethos Rowing Team are already preparing for their next event, the British Indoor Rowing Championships, which will take place later this year
