Slough Jets have confirmed that head coach Lukáš Smítal and forward Sam Talbot have resigned with the club for the following season.
The pair were an integral part of the Jets Wilkinson Division and National Championship victory this season.
Player/head coach Smítal enters his third season with the club and amassed an astonishing 87 points from just 19 games this season and The former Czech Republic U20 international is raring to go for the season ahead.
Speaking on the Slough Jets website Smítal said: “‘after the season we had, re-signing with Slough was a very easy decision for me.
“I am confident with the right players in place we can challenge for the top spot again.”
Talbot has also committed himself to the club for another season, following an impressive campaign for the dangerous forward. The 18-year-old made five appearances for the Great Britain u18s during the 2018/19 season and will look to continue his development at the Jets in the NIHL 1 next season.
