Potential pet owners will have the chance to meet furry friends at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in Old Windsor.
‘Battersea Summer Mondays’ will run throughout August, with talks taking place on adopting or fostering a rescue animal.
Visitors will be able to meet the cat and dogs at the home in Priest Hill and take part in family activities, including a treasure hunt.
Lurcher Bud (pictured above) is just one of the 260 dogs patiently waiting at Battersea to find his new family.
Bud is Battersea’s longest standing resident, and after 892 days in kennels, staff and volunteers at the charity would like nothing more than to see him find a home at these events.
Battersea Summer Mondays will run every Monday in August between 11am and 4pm.
Admission is £2 for adults, £1 for children, and free for children under three and concessions. Groups of up to five people is £7.
