Sunningdale Golf Club’s Mia Ingham has been rewarded for her fine form across the 2025 season by being included in England Golf’s National Girls Squad for the 2025/26 campaign.
Mia’s accomplishments in 2025 have seen her stand out from the pack, and her consistent top five and top 10 finishes in a range of competitions, both home and abroad will also have stood out to the squad’s selectors. .
So far in 2025, Mia has finished in the top five at the English Girls Open Stroke Play Championship as well as the Northampton Tigress competition.
She was placed third at the 2025 Sir Henry Cooper Championships and won the 2025 Stephen Galllacher Foundation International in Spain.
Staying in Spain, she was second in the Robert Rock Junior Golf Tour European Masters and finished inside the top 10 at this year’s Critchley Astor Salver.
This year’s squad includes three new additions, with Daisy Lee and Ria Prabhaker joining Mia in the squad for the first time. They will link up with the more established trio of Elizabeth Wilson, Charlotte Naughton, and Annabel Peaford for matches over the course of the next 12 months.
The girls’ squad is composed exclusively of UK-based players. They will be led by Steve Robinson, Women’s National Team Coach and John Watson, Girls National Team Coach.
England Golf Women’s Performance Manager, Jenny Henderson, is excited by the team’s prospects this season.
She said: “I know I speak for the entire National Coaching Team when I say we are incredibly excited to work with this talented group of players as the new coaching year begins.
"A new season is a new opportunity — not just to lower scores, but to raise our standards. Every swing, every coaching session, every day, we aim to get a little bit better. This group of players already have some remarkable achievements to be proud of, but we’re not just about chasing trophies — we’re chasing potential.
"The work these players put in ahead of next season will define who they are when the pressure is on. Each player brings unique strengths, and we are looking forward to supporting them with opportunities to grow, compete, and achieve something special. The commitment and energy I’ve already seen gives me great confidence in what’s ahead.
"These squads include exclusively UK-based players. An announcement confirming overseas players will follow later in the coaching year.”
