WSEH AC stars Lake and Oskan-Clarke fall well below best at World Championships

Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow (WSEH) AC’s Morgan Lake and Shelayna Oskan-Clarke fell well below their usual high standards at the World Championships in Doha this week.

Representing Team GB in the high jump, Lake managed to clear just 1.85m as she failed to even reach the final.

Big things were expected of Oskan-Clarke after her medal success at the European Championships last year.

However, after breezing through her 800m heat in second place in 2.02.08, she struggled in her semi-final, finishing eighth in 2.10.80 and failing to make the final.

Next weekend WSEH travel to Birmingham to contest the UK Road Relay Championships.
