Slough's Bielawski picks up two medals at World Taekwondo ITF Championships

A resident of Slough fought his way to two medals at this summer’s World Taekwondo ITF Championship.

Tomasz Bielawski, who moved to Slough 10 years ago, claimed bronze in the Veterano Male Sparring I-IV Dan, and bronze in II Dan Patterns at the mixed martial arts tournament which was held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on August 24-30.

Bielawski, who is a second Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo, was one of over 1,500 competitors from 72 countries who participated in the competition.

He has been training in martial arts for more than eight years with former British Taekwon-Do Federation president, Grandmaster Wayne Brown.
