Connor Gough and Harrison Arnold are part of the England boys team which will defend their home international title starting tomorrow (Tuesday).
Gough, 15, from Stoke Park GC and Arnold, 18, from Castle Royle, are part of the England side which wil face teams from their other home nations in the three-day tournament at Royal Dornoch in Scotland.
Gough, who was also in last year’s winning team, has won the English Under-16s boys’ open for the McGregor Trophy and the Fairhaven Trophy, while Arnold is the current leader of the England Golf boys’ order of merit and won the Under-18s Peter McEvoy Trophy.
England boys squad: Harrison Arnold (Castle Royle), Barclay Brown (Hallamshire), Matthew Freeman (Notts), Harry Goddard (Hanbury Manor), Conor Gough (Stoke Park), Josh Hill (Dubai-based), Max Hopkins (Bishops Stortford), Habebul Islam (Ipswich), Curtis Knipes (Abridge), Joe Pagdin (Florida-based), Robin Williams (Peterborough Milton). Reserve: Charlie Salter (Northamptonshire County).
