Elves served up a hearty start to the day at breakfast with Father Christmas on Saturday.
It was a busy morning for Santa's little helpers with about 150 people turning up for breakfast at St Paul's Church Hall in Town Lane.
As well as a full English there was an 'elfie selfie' corner and a visit to Santa's grotto for all the children.
It was the first time the church has organised the event, which will raise money for the church and for The Walk Centre in Nakuru, Kenya.
The charity provides free education and food to 350 children living in a slum.
Sophie Winkler, who helped organise the event, said: "It was much more successful than we thought it was going to be.
"Samantha Wilson was the brains behind it, it was something her parents have done in their church.
"We definitely want to do the same again next year."
