Olympic rowing champion Helen Glover is set to join other sport stars in Marlow on Sunday to celebrate Team GB’s success at Rio 2016.
The double gold medallist, as well as Paralympic champions Jeanette Chippington and Katie-George Dunlevy and wheelchair basketballer Clare Griffiths have been added to a bill which already included rowers Katherine Grainger and Naomi Riches and hockey player Alex Danson.
This summer’s games saw Glover successfully defend her 2,000m rowing title with partner Heather Stanning, while para-canoeist Jeanette Chippington scooped gold in the K–1 200m KL1 canoeing – adding to the 12 swimming medals she already had.
Wheelchair basketball star Griffiths helped Team GB achieve their best ever finish in the competition, reaching the semi-final where they were knocked out by Team USA.
And para-cyclist Katie-George Dunlevy, who won gold and silver medals for Ireland, will also be present.
The group is due to take to a stage outside Court Garden House, in Marlow’s Higginson Park, from 2pm.
