Plans to carry out internal and external alterations to a listed building in Langley Park on the Uxbridge Road, feature in this week’s public notices.
The plans for North Grange, which have been submitted to Buckinghamshire Council, include replacing the existing single storey extension with a single storey side/rear extension.
Fenestration alterations, including replacement and additional doors and windows, and the removal of the mezzanine level to restore the first floor level and ground floor level ceiling height to its original levels, are also included. The removal of an external steel staircase and the part-infill of a doorway in the garden wall, with the insertion of doors behind, and the erection of a garden store, also feature in the plans.

A temporary order to prevent drivers from waiting in a road in Windsor features in this week’s public notices. The Royal Borough is looking to stop drivers from waiting in Poolmans Road, Windsor, on the northern side of the carriageway from the eastern boundary of 2 Poolmans Road westward to the western boundary of 12 Poolmans Road.
It would also apply to the southern side of the carriageway from the western boundary of 1 Poolmans Road westward to the western boundary of 17 Poolmans Road.
The proposed order is to facilitate fibre network ducting works.
It will come into force from 12.01am on Wednesday, December 17 until 11.59pm on Friday, December 19.
In Slough, the council is proposing to make an order to temporarily close Dundee Road to traffic, from its junction with Banbury Avenue to its junction with Oxford Avenue.
The proposed order is for works that are or are proposed to be conducted on or near the road.
If made, it will come into force from 12.01am on Saturday, January 18.
All works are expected to be completed by 11.59pm on Sunday, January 19. An alternative route will be available to drivers while the proposed order is in force, with a local diversion sign in place at the location.
Advanced warning notices will also be in place at the locations advising of the dates the works will be conducted.
Access will be maintained for all businesses and local residents.
