Students across Maidenhead found out if the months of hard work had paid off yesterday as they picked up their A-level results.
Nationally, top grades fell for a second year running amidst more rigorous grade boundaries and a return to pre-pandemic exam conditions.
But there were still plenty of success stories in the town as students waved goodbye to their school education and looked ahead to their next step in life.
