The Maidenhead branch of McDonald’s has announced it will be closed for renovations for a month in the new year.
The fast food chain's High Street branch will be closed from Tuesday, January 3 until Wednesday, February 1 while major works take place.
It is part of a three-year national scheme to improve restaurants around the country.
The renovations will see the store given the same kiosk system as many other stores where you can place an order on a screen before you get to the counter.
There will also be tablets installed on the tables so customers can surf the web, play games, and eat their Big Mac at the same time.
