Theresa May spoke about her role as the Prime Minister to school pupils on Friday, November 25.
She visited Furze Platt Junior School after receiving a letter from head boy Finnley Tanner who wanted to speak to her about her job.
After arriving at the school in Oaken Grove, Mrs May talked to children in assembly, before answering questions with the school council.
Headteacher Mike Wallace said: “She engaged the children, they were captivated by her answers and she gave up so much time. There were some really good questions from them.”
