Volunteers are being sought to ensure the continued survival of the Maidenhead and District Arts Council.
New members are needed for the council’s executive committee following a resignation, leaving just three on the panel.
A minimum of four are needed according to the council’s constitution and committee member Rudi Sheldon has said the body will have to consider folding if new blood and ideas cannot be brought in.
It was set up in 1977 to support the arts in Maidenhead and its campaigning eventually led to the creation of Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, in Altwood Road.
