Advice about possible search parties being formed to help search for missing 83-year-old Beatrice Stafford, also known as Mary, has been issued by police today (Thursday).
A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police said: “We currently have sufficient specialist search teams in the area so additional people are not required at present.
“People can help by searching their gardens, sheds, garages and outbuildings, particularly in the Cannon Lane area but also in the wider Maidenhead area.
“We also appreciate the public looking out for anyone fitting Beatrice’s description while they are out in Maidenhead.
“Search parties can increase the workload with lots of calls and people getting lost.”
