There will be the chance to meet some of Team GB’s victorious Olympians and Paralympians at a charity event.
Reigning Olympic women’s hockey champions Hollie Webb, Giselle Ansley and Shona McCallin will be joined by Paralympic equestrian gold medallist Sophie Christiansen and Irish para-cyclist Katie-George Dunlevy at the David Lloyd Club, in King Street, on Saturday.
The group will be there from 10.30am till 1.30pm as part of a weekend of fundraising for the British Heart Foundation’s Bag It. Beat It campaign.
There will also be events on Sunday.
Mark Woodhead, of Crazy About Framing, also in King Street, who helped organise the event, said: “It’s an inspiring thing for us to be able to do as individuals but also it can also only raise the profile of Maidenhead and our businesses.”
