A charity cake sale was held to raise money for Rosie’s Rainbow Fund at Redroofs Theatre School on Tuesday.
Cakes were decorated by students and themed around Roald Dahl characters to celebrate what would have been the author’s 100th birthday.
More than £150 was raised and treats included Snozzcumber and Willy Wonka Hat cakes.
Sam Keston, co-director of the school in Bath Road, said: “It went really well, children created the cakes themselves and we had a student perform a song from Matilda the musical.
“Rosie’s Rainbow Fund is a charity close to our hearts and it’s a great way to introduce new students to the charity.”
Rosie’s Rainbow Fund is based in Maidenhead and supports sick and disabled children in hospital, school and in the community.
