A charity swimathon was held to raise money for new play equipment at Woodlands Park Primary School on Wednesday.
The event saw each class from year one to year six take it in turns to swim laps of the pool.
Jo Butcher, head of the school in Heywood Avenue, said: “We’ve had such a nice September we wanted to use the pool.
“It’s a great way for the child-ren to show off their swimming skills.
“We are fundraising for new play equipment and hope that we can have a record-breaking year for fundraising and get as much as we possibly can.
“It’s also great to show off the pool as we are lucky to have one and not many people realise we have our own pool.”
